Seattle Travel Guide

You can have a completely different experience in Seattle depending on the time of year you go. Like most cities, you can see a lot in just a weekend trip. Seattle is the perfect destination for foodies, architecture buffs, or anyone looking for a great weekend getaway. It's also a great stop while exploring the Pacific Northwest. Regardless of what you decide, you're guaranteed to fall in love with the city. Keep reading for the top 3 must-do's when visiting Seattle. Top 3 Things To Do When Visiting Seattle

The Space Needle

The Space Needle is one of the most iconic spots in Seattle. With an observation deck at 518 feet in the air, it offers unbeatable views of Seattle For those looking to beat the crowds, I recommend arriving right when it opens at 10am. You can buy tickets in advance or purchase them upon arrival. You can also pay a little more to access the Chihuly Glass Museum next door.

Pike Place Market

Another iconic spot in Seattle is Pike Place Market. It's one of the oldest public markets in the United States. You can find anything from jewelry, restaurants, wine, flowers, and some of the freshest seafood. It's also home to the world-famous and award-winning Pike's Place Chowder.

Bike Bainbridge Island

This is one of my favorite things to add to any Seattle travel guide. Bainbridge Island is about a 30-minute (very scenic) ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Once you get onto the island, renting bikes, specifically electric bikes, is a must. The electric bikes are worth the splurge, in my opinion. You're able to explore the island and all it has to offer. The endless picturesque pine trees remind you that you're in the Pacific Northwest. Bainbridge Island also has many shops, restaurants, and great wineries. Most notable are Via Rosa Italian Market & Kitchen and Amelia Wynn Winery.
