Myconian Korali Hotel Review

We recently spent 2 amazing weeks in Europe and had such a great time. It was my first time in Greece, and I can say I definitely get the hype now. Our first stop was Mykonos. We spent 1 day in Mykonos and stayed at Myconian Korali Relais & Chateaux. The location, service, property, and room were all wonderful. Here is my honest Myconian Korali hotel review.

Myconian Korali Hotel Review

Overview

The Myconian Korali Relais & Chateaux Hotel came highly recommended to us, and we loved it. We ended up getting a free upgrade, so our room even had a pool. The hotel has gorgeous views of the ocean from almost every room too. Each stay includes their complimentary breakfast buffet with amazing food AND amazing views. You can also organize transportation directly through the hotel, which was convenient (although, a little more expensive than we were used to).

Room Type

We stayed in an Aeon Superior Room. We originally booked a Panoramic room with a full sea view, but as I mentioned, got a free upgrade. The upgrade was definitely a nice surprise! All rooms have either a private hot tub or pool. Our room felt super new and upscale. The best part of the rooms at the Myconian Korali are the hot tubs or pools overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Overall, the rooms are decently sized and the beds are very comfortable (which was much needed after a 10-hour red-eye flight).

Amenities

The Myconian Korali's biggest amenity is its pool area. It's a gorgeous infinity pool with views of the Aegean Sea.

There is also a spa and fitness center on the property. The spa is a must. They offer a variety of high-end treatments. There are also five heated thalassotherapy pools, made to focus on the cleansing properties of seawater. Another great amenity is their complimentary transportation to/from the hotel. Given how expensive transportation can be in Mykonos, this is a huge plus.

Lastly, the concierge service can organize a variety of different activities for you: yacht excursions, water sports, horseback riding, etc.

Food

Like I mentioned earlier, the Myconian Korali has an amazing breakfast buffet, and it’s included in the room price. They have everything you could want - eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals. I still dream of their chocolate granola with fresh Greek yogurt.

The pool bar serves delicious poolside food and cocktails. We tried their tzatziki and it was some of the best tzatziki I've ever had. And of course, their spritz was delicious.

Baos is their fine dining restaurant, located in the same location as the breakfast buffet (with the same gorgeous view of the Aegean Sea). It's open for lunch and dinner and features a full wine list. Their menu is seasonal and incorporates locally grown ingredients.

If you can't get enough of the view from your hotel room, the Myconian Korali offers a full in-room dining menu.

Price

Mykonos is one of the most expensive islands in general, so naturally, hotels are going to be on the more expensive side. Given its amenities and compared to other hotels in the same area (with the same view), I thought Myconian Korali was fairly priced. That said, a trip to Mykonos is not cheap…

Service

The team at Myconian Korali really exemplifies Greek hospitality. We were picked up from the airport promptly and received a warm welcome upon arrival. The Myconian prides itself on personalized service and offers things such as butler service, pre-arrival shopping services, packing/unpacking services, and laundry services.

Location

I thought the Myconian Korali was in a relatively good location. It was only a 10-minute walk down to the windmills/Little Venice. Otherwise, it was only about a 10-minute drive to anywhere else we wanted to go on the island. The Myconian Korali is also perched on a hill, and there are never-ending views of the ocean from pretty much every spot on the property.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I really liked the Myconian Korali Relais & Chateaux. If you choose to stay here, I hope you love it as much as I did. Leave a comment if you have any questions!
