Jackson Hole Travel Guide

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of the most beautiful places I've been to. We just spent 3 days in Jackson Hole and enjoyed every minute. It's a charming mountain town, located in the heart of the Teton Range. There are gorgeous views at every turn, and there is plenty to add to your Jackson Hole travel guide.

Although it's a mountain town, Jackson Hole is absolutely gorgeous in the Summer. There is much more to do when the weather is warmer, especially because exploring the Grand Tetons is a must. That said, even if you're not a super "outdoorsy" person, you can still visit Jackson Hole and have a great time.

Keep reading for the top 3 must-do's when visiting Jackson Hole. And if you're thinking of planning a trip to Jackson Hole, but don't want to plan, check out my Jackson Hole travel guide.

Top 3 To Do When Visiting Jackson Hole

Explore Grand Teton National Park

No Jackson Hole travel guide is complete without including a trip to Grand Teton National Park. If you love the outdoors, Grand Teton National Park is going to be your paradise. There are endless hiking trails to explore, filled with wild life. Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point in Jenny Lake are 2 of the more popular destinations. Cascade Canyon and Delta Lake are also super popular. There are hikes available for all levels/distances.

Go Water Rafting In The Snake River

Rafting in the Snake River is another must when visiting Jackson Hole. Aside from being an exhilarating experience, you are surrounded by gorgeous views of the Tetons. There are a variety of different guided trips for individuals at all levels, so you'll feel safe during your trip.

Go To The Jackson Hole Rodeo

The Jackson Hole Rodeo is an iconic event that will give you the full "Jackson Hole" experience. It's held during the summer months and features bull riding, barrel racing, team roping and saddle bronc riding. Be sure to buy tickets ahead of time, and try and get there 30-45 minutes before it starts for the best seats. You can't bring food/drinks inside, but there is a concession stand with food and alcohol.
