If you’re looking for beach pool parties and chill vibes, Seminyak is the place. I heard mixed reviews before visiting, but personally, I loved it. There are plenty of great spots to add to your Seminyak travel guide and I think spending 2 days in Seminyak is perfect if you’re short on time.
Our 7 day Bali trip started here since we wanted to do the busier spot first. We spent 2 nights in Seminyak, but only 1 full day. Since our time was limited, we wanted to see as much as possible. So that meant carefully planning our Seminyak travel guide and cramming a lot of things in before heading to Uluwatu.
If I were to do it over again, I would’ve extended our trip one day and spent a full 2 days in Seminyak to have more time at each spot. I enjoyed them WAY more than I thought I would. Some of the places we went were in neighboring towns (Canggu, Legian), but they’re close and easy to get to from Seminyak.

Seminyak Travel Guide:
Day 1:
»Ize Seminyak: We stayed at Ize Seminyak. For the price, this hotel was great and decently central to everywhere we wanted to go. It’s on a main street with a lot of restaurants and shopping as well. We also arranged an airport pick up through the hotel.
»Revolver Espresso: This spot was a five minute walk from our hotel. It’s a hip coffee spot off the main street. We ordered the Killer Chiller coffee & White Chocolate coffee.
»Ku De Ta: We came here for breakfast on the water. As the day progresses, it turns into a livelier beach club, but it was pretty mellow when we were there. A few of my friends have come here later in the day and they absolutely love it. I heard the sunset is absolutely amazing too!
»Old Man’s Bar: From Ku De Ta, we took a cab to Old Man’s bar, an old school surfer/beach bar vibe. I’ve heard this spot is super fun at night too.
»The Lawn: Walking distance from Old Man’s Bar, The Lawn is a spot with outdoor “lawn” seating overlooking the ocean. We got spring rolls + some drinks. It’s a fun, more mellow vibe. I loved it.
»Finn’s Beach Club: This spot is like a Vegas pool party, but on the beach overlooking the ocean. When we went, it wasn’t as crowded as Potato Head, but it was still super fun.
»Potato Head Beach Club: One of the #1 (if not the top) beach clubs in Bali, Potato Head is so much fun. You can head there for lunch, rent a day bead, or spend time in their infinity pool overlooking the beach.
»La Plancha: I’ve traveled to a lot of cool spots, but La Plancha is still one of my favorite places ever. If I had to recommend one place for your Seminyak travel guide, it would be La Plancha. Imagine lounging on a beanbag chair overlooking the ocean/sunset, surrounded by a beach full of people and colorful umbrellas. Add in a cold glass of wine and speakers playing old dance hits – it doesn’t get much better than that. I totally would’ve stayed there all night.

Day 2:
»Kynd Community: We couldn’t leave Seminyak without checking out the Instagram-able, Kynd Community. This spot has super bright colored walls and serve delicious smoothies and bowls.
»Sea Circus: We headed to Sea Circus for breakfast, another place bursting with bright colors and obviously circus décor. We ordered the Avo Smash + Chili Scramble that had some sort of Potato Bread as the base. It was delicious.
»Grocer & Grind: Our last stop in Seminyak was Grocer + Grind for a second breakfast. We heard we had to try the breakfast tacos and they were great.
