It’s officially Spooky Season and what’s more spooky than haunted hotels? The world is filled with so many haunted hotels, known for eerie stories and (alleged) ghosts who roam the properties.

Stanley Hotel

Known as the inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining, the Stanley Hotel is said to be haunted by the original owners, F.O. and Flora Stanley.

The Driskill Hotel

Austin, TX, USA

Built in 1886, The Driskill is home to the ghost of its namesake, Colonel Jesse Driskill, and several other mysterious apparitions.

Hotel Jerome

Aspen, CO, USA

A luxury hotel with an eerie past, Hotel Jerome is reportedly haunted by the ghost of a young boy who drowned in the pool. 

Hotel del Coronado

San Diego, CA, USA

The ghost of Kate Morgan, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1892, is said to haunt the Hotel del Coronado, a Victorian beachside hotel.
