There are great bars, spas, and chic Airbnbs - making it perfect for all types of bachelorette parties. The weather is also pretty warm the majority of the year, considering it's the desert. If you're planning a Palm Springs bachelorette party, I've got you covered.

Palm Springs has become a go-to destination for bachelorette parties in Southern California, especially due to its close proximity. I recently helped plan a Palm Springs bachelorette party and it was super fun.

Where To Stay:

Airbnbs

There are a lot of great AirBnbs in Palm Springs. That said, you can also find great spots in Palm Desert, Indian Wells, and Indio that are a little more cost effective. Al are about ~30 minutes to Downtown Palm Springs, so if you're only planning on going out in Palm Springs 1-2 times, it might be worth it to consider looking at options in these areas.

  • Hotel El Cid: ~$1,496/night; Sleeps 14 guests (5 bedrooms/6 beds) - Palm Springs

  • Rios House: $~1,200/night; Sleeps 12 guests (6 bedrooms/6 beds) - Palm Springs

  • Modern Lux: ~$900/night; Sleeps 10 guests (4 bedrooms/5 beds) - Palm Springs

  • Pink Province: ~$695/night; Sleeps 8 guests (4 bedrooms/5 beds) - Palm Springs

  • Jolly Rancher: $641/night; Sleeps 8 guests (4 bedrooms/5 beds) - Palm Springs

  • Santorini Songbird: ~$724/night; Sleeps 14 guests (5 bedrooms/8 beds) - Indio

Hotels

If your group isn't into AirBnbs, here are a few great hotel options:

  • The Marley Hotel: The Marley is the pricier side if you decide to do a full buy out, but filled with so much Instagram-worthy decor for a Palm Springs bachelorette party. It can sleep up to 22 guests and has a huge pool and fire pit. The Marley also offers additional services such as grocery shopping/bartending, private yoga, and massages. (Contact for pricing)

  • Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel: (~$360/night) The Rowan is a great for groups and has a rooftop pool/lounge, High Bar, with gorgeous views of Palm Springs.

  • Ace Hotel: (~$275/night) The Ace Hotel is a more modern hotel. There is a restaurant, bar, 2 pools and a spa onsite.

How To Get Around:

Uber and Lyft are popular and convenient for getting around from place to place. We also rented a party bus one night, which was super fun.

To get to Palm Springs, there are a few airports you can fly into and then drive from (I would recommend renting a car. You'll want it in Palm Springs in case you need to grab things from the store, etc).

  • From ONT (Ontario International Airport - San Bernardino County): ~1 hour 15 minutes

  • From SNA (John Wayne Airport - Orange County): ~1 hour 30 minutes

  • From LAX (Los Angeles International): ~2 hours

  • From SAN (San Diego International): ~2 hours 15 minutes

Where To Eat:

Brunch

  • Norma's: Norma's is at the Parker Hotel. The decor is super bright and chic, making it a fun brunch spot for groups. They take reservations for parties of 6 or less online. For larger groups, you can call directly to book.

  • Boozehounds: Boozehounds is a dog friendly restaurant with fun decor and delicious food. They accept reservations for parties of 7 or less online.

  • The Pink Cabana: The Pink Cabana is probably one of the most picture-worthy restaurants. It's actually located in Indian Wells, but worth the drive if you're looking for some cute pics with great food.

A Quick Bite

  • Townie Bagels: Townie Bagels is one of the best bagel spots in Palm Springs. They do delivery within Palm Springs, so long as you call 2 days in advance, which is super convenient.

  • Ernest Coffee: Ernest is one of the best coffee spots in Palm Springs. The gourmet coffee options are a little pricier, but delicious.

  • 4 Paws Coffee Co.: Another great coffee spot and they deliver too!

  • Sherman’s Deli & Bakery: Sherman's Deli is perfect if you are doing lunch at the house and don't feel like making anything. There are two locations (Palm Springs and Palm Desert) so be sure to double check the pick up location before placing your order.

Dinner

  • Tropicale: We went to Tropicale for dinner during our Palm Springs bachelorette party, and I loved it. The service was a little on the slower side, but we were with a huge group so that's to be expected. The vibe is super fun (definitely retro) and the food/drinks were great.

  • Birba: Birba is a delicious Italian restaurant, and another spot great for groups (but I would recommend it for a more casual/quiet night). They accept reservations online for parties of 9 or less. For larger parties, call the restaurant.

  • Trio: Trio was the other restaurant we had dinner at. The food was delicious and it's a perfect spots for groups.

  • Azúcar: Azúcar is a 21+ restaurant and serves delicious contemporary food. It's a great spot for groups, although you have to call to make a reservation for large parties. Be sure to also check out their rooftop lounge, Sugar High!

Where To Drink:

Club/Bars/Cocktails

  • The Nest: The Nest is actually in Indian Wells, but is a staple if you're in Palm Springs. My friends and I love this place. It's difficult to get any sort of reservation in advance unless you book dinner there, but you can typically get in pretty quickly.

  • Bootlegger Tiki: For a fun tiki bar, head to Bootlegger Tiki.

  • Mini Bar @ The Parker Hotel: The Parker is a chic hotel and classic old Hollywood-style. The Mini Bar is perfect if you're looking for a classy spot to grab a drink.

  • Copa: If you're looking for a retro nightclub, head to Copa. Saturdays it's typically filled with other groups of bachelorette parties. You can book bottle service in advance too.

Rooftop Bars

  • High Bar: Located at The Rowan hotel, High Bar is a super popular rooftop pool bar. It has gorgeous views of Palm Springs (arguably one of the best!).

  • Sugar High: Sugar High is at the top of Azúcar restaurant. The lounge is first come first serve, and great for a pre-dinner drink if you're heading to Azúcar for dinner. The views here are also gorgeous!

Day Drinking/Breweries/Wineries

  • Jalama Wines: Jalama Wines offers tastings from 12-5p on Fridays/Saturdays and 12-4p on Sundays. If you're a party of 6+, reach out to them in advance.

  • La Quinta Brewing: La Quinta Brewing is a fun spot to spend an afternoon in Downtown Palm Springs.

What To Do:

  • Pool Party: If you're looking for something a little less aggressive after a night out, I've found throwing a pool party at the house is the best idea. Everyone can ease into the day at their own pace, and it requires little effort to get ready to leave the house.

  • Man Servants: We got ManServants one day during the Palm Springs bachelorette party I helped plan. They were so much fun and brought a great vibe (we may have been a tad hungover). They kept the drinks coming and also helped us with a great photo shoot for our bride. They also helped us clean up the house and did other random tasks we asked of them. Highly recommend lol.

  • Spa Day: If you're looking for more relaxation, Palm Springs has a few amazing spas such as Palm Springs Yacht Club at Parker Palm Springs, Spa La Quinta, and Spa Desert Springs.

  • Joshua Tree National Park: If your group is looking to be a little more active, head to Joshua Tree. It's known for its ancient Joshua Trees (duh, the name) and huge rock formations. There is so much to explore.

  • Marilyn Monroe's Home: If your bride is obsessed with old Hollywood, head to Marilyn Monroe's Palm Springs Home at: 1326 Rose Ave, Palm Springs, CA. She never actually owned the home, just rented it.

Sample Palm Springs Bachelorette Party Itinerary

If you're planning a Palm Springs bachelorette, here is a sample itinerary that gives you a little bit of everything.

Day 1:

  • Arrive to Palm Springs

  • Drinks:Sugar High Rooftop Lounge

  • Dinner: Azúcar (call for reservations)

  • Drinks: Mini Bar @ The Parker Hotel

Day 2:

  • Brunch:Boozehounds (reservations for 7 or less; call for parties of 8+)

  • Activity:La Quinta Brewing / Exploredowntown Palm Springs

  • Dinner:Trio (reservations for parties of 8 or less; call for parties of 9+)

  • Drinks:Bootlegger Tiki

Day 3:

  • Breakfast: To go order from Townie Bagels (order ahead 2 days in advance for delivery)

  • Activity: ManServants + Pool Party @ the house (or pool day at your hotel)

  • Dinner: Tropicale

  • Drinks: Copa
