Nashville Travel Guide

Nashville has quickly become one of the top places to visit in the US. Whether you're a music lover, foodie, or just looking to have a great time at a country bar, Nashville has a little something for everyone. It's also one of the most frequented spots for bachelor/bachelorette parties. Keep reading for the top 3 must-do's when visiting Nashville. Top 3 Things To Do When Visiting Nashville

(Country) Bar Hop On Broadway

This should be at the top of any Nashville travel guide! One of the biggest Nashville attractions is Broadway. It's known for its dozens of country bars, good restaurants, shops, and rooftops overlooking the city. Any night of the week, you can find up-and-coming country singers performing at one of the many bars. Broadway is also home to some bars owned by big country artists themselves such as Jason Aldean (Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar), Blake Shelton (Ole Red), Dierks Bentley (Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row), and Luke Bryan (Luke's 32 Bridge Food + Drink) to name a few. If you're a country music lover, it doesn't get better than the live music on Broadway.

See A Performance At Grand Ole Opry

Grand Ole Opry is arguably country's most famous stage. While it's pretty much centered around country music, you don't have to be a country music fan to enjoy it. Seeing a performance here is such a unique experience. And if you can swing it, purchase tickets for the backstage tour too.

Eat Nashville Hot Chicken And/Or BBQ

Nashville is a great spot for foodies. One of their specialties is Hot Chicken, which is known for its (you guessed it) spice. Hattie B's is one of the top spots for visitors (and locals). You can order their chicken with 1 of 6 heat levels (from no heat to "burn notice" as they warn). There is often a pretty long wait, so try getting there right when they open. And if hot chicken isn't your thing, Nashville also has some of the best BBQ: Peg Leg Porker and Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint (my personal favorite).
